Foyle’s War is created and written by celebrated novelist and screenwriter Anthony Horowitz OBE and as with the previous series, will be inspired by real events in the early Cold War.
Lemon Casting provided for BBC’s ‘Happy Valley’ which was shot in the Yorkshire area. The new crime drama has had alot of positive feedback and is proving to be one of the best watches of 2014, says Gerard O’Donovan.
Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire) is a strong-willed police sergeant in the Yorkshire valleys, still coming to terms with the suicide of her daughter. Just as she seems to be getting back on top of her life, she spots Tommy Lee Royce (James Norton), the man she believes to be responsible for the events that drove her daughter to suicide, walking the streets of her town. She soon becomes obsessed with finding Royce, unaware that he is involved in the secret kidnapping of Ann Gallagher (Charlie Murphy), a plot orchestrated by Ashley Cowgill (Joe Armstrong). Things quickly take a dark turn as they scramble to keep the kidnapping secret, although Catherine is on to them.
Testament of Youth
Lemon Casting provided for the adaptation of Vera Brittain’s First World War memoir Testament Of Youth which was filmed in Yorkshire, Oxford and London. Heyday Films and BBC Films are co-producers on the adaptation of the 1933 memoir where a British woman recalls coming of age during World War I
Testament Of Youth is being directed by James Kent, whose recent credits include three episodes of period miniseries The White Queen, which largely doubled the Belgian cities of Bruges and Ghent for 15th Century England.
The Mill series 2
Well done to all our artists who took part in the filming of the 2nd series of ‘The Mill’. Many of our artists were regulars and proved to be very committed.
Following the success of the first series in 2013, the new six-part second series will cover the period between 1838-1842 focusing on the lives of the mill workers against a background of significant social and political changes following the Poor Law Amendment Act of 1834 which made a distinction between ‘deserving’ and ‘undeserving’ poor. This is a time of the great Chartist rallies and the birth of modern democracy with the movement for the right for working class people to vote sweeping across the country.
In The Flesh series 2
Lemon Casting provided a number of zombies and general characters for the new series of BAFTA nominated 'In The Flesh' which is set to air on Sunday, May 4 at 10pm.
In the new six-part run, PDS sufferer Kieren (Luke Newberry) is caught up in the crossfire between the Undead Liberation Army and extreme political party Victus.
Emmett Scanlan joins the cast as Simon - a charismatic disciple of the Undead Prophet - while Wunmi Mosaku plays Maxine Martin, member of Victus and Roarton's newly-elected Member of Parliament.
Music Video Directed by Johnny Vegas
Well done to John Maude, Jean Horrocks, Jean Shorrock, Jack Goodson and Patricia Hull who appeared in a music video directed by Johnny Vegas.
Lemon Casting provided alot of the older people for this production which was shot in the Manchester Area. The artists had a really fun day, the weather was great and they had a laugh together.
The video was produced by Woolyback Productions who are an independent production company.
Palin, who will reunite with the rest of Monty Python later this year, plays a mysterious care home resident who is the only witness to a violent death in the three-part series, which began filming in Yorkshire this week.
Lemon provided all the police, uniforms and many supporting and featured artists for this new BBC1 Drama. A special well done to Lisa Ashton who got dialogue.
In The Club
Will Mellor and Jill Halfpenny have been cast in BBC One’s new drama 'In The Club'.
'In The Club' follows the lives of six different couples who’ve bonded at the local Parent Craft class in the last trimester of their pregnancies.
We also provided all the uniformed professional, police uniforms and many supporting and featured artists. Some of our artists also had small speaking roles.

John Simm is to star in a new drama series for ITV.
Prey - written by newcomer Chris Lunt - will see the Life on Mars actor play a cop suspected of murder.
"We're attempting something different with Prey," said Nicola Shindler of Red Production Company.

Life On Mars star Philip Glenister filming new BBC drama about horrific 1996 IRA bombing.Filming has now finished on the BBC’s highly-anticipated From There To Here three-part drama, produced by the same team behind ITV’s hit murder mystery series Broadchurch.
Lemon provided many artists on this exciting new drama including featured artists with dialogue. Watch out for Phillip, Pauline, Marcy and Lisa who all had speaking roles and chosen from their Film & TV Workshop Videos, which is amazing. Many other Lemon artists took supporting roles.

Cabbage & Pat
Lemon suplied many featured and supporting artists for the new ITV comedy 'Cabbage & Pat'. 87 year old John Maude was well featured. He played the part of Lorenzo by pouring a glass for Pat (Barbara Flynn) whilst saying his line is a very frail manner. John is actually nothing like his character Lorenzo, he is the life and soul of the party!
John has been registered with us for 12 years and we love having him on our books. He is reliable and trustworthy.

Celebrity Super Spa
Its a wrap! on Celebrity Super Spa. Lemon Casting have loved supplying artists for Celebrity Super Spa. The new Channel 5 show is set to hit screens soon starring Helen Flanagan and James ‘Arg’ Argent. It was certainly entertaining on set to say the least!
Our artists had hair cut, spray tans and face masks done by the celebs and they loved it. Carol even got to walk down the catwalk to show off her new look.

‘The Mill' (working title) based on the real life story of Quarry Bank Mill in Cheshire. Finding its main characters amongst the multitude of workers employed at the Mill, the drama will bring to life what it was really like to be at coalface of the industrial revolution.

Scott & Bailey
Lemon provided extra, walk-ons and police for the latest series of Scott & Bailey starring Suranne Jones and Lesley Sharp. The show revolves around the personal and professional lives of DC Bailey and DC Scott. It is produced by Manchester-based Red Production Company for ITV1 and is largely filmed in the Greater Manchester area.
In The Flesh
Lemon provided zombies for the BBC supernatural drama starring Luke Newberry and Ricky Tomlinson. The show was created and written by Dominic Mitchell and is set after the zombie apocalypse and focuses on zombie teenager Kieren Walker as he reintegrates back into the local community.
Lemon provided regulat villagers for BBC TV series The Village, written by Peter Moffat. Moffat's drama is set in a Derbyshire village from 1914 to 1920. The Village stars John Simm as an alcoholic Peak District farmer and Maxine Peake as his wife Grace.
Lemon Casting provided many background artists for the new comedy drama 'Heading Out starring Sue Perkins. Comic and TV presenter Sue Perkins wrote the new sitcom for BBC Two. Watch this space

Lemon have been supplying extras and featured walk-ons for the popular TV drama for many years, working on the very first episode when Shameless was in it's infancy and still supplying to this very day.
Shameless, produced by Paul Abbott, is loved and watched by many and is one of the countries favourites comedy dramas. Lemon have also supplied armed uniformed police on many occasions.
Lemon Casting provided TV extras for Peter Kays Britain's Got The Pop Factor. Not only did we supply a large amount of film & TV extras, we also supplied most of the featured artists, like character 'Disco Dave'. Peter Kay personally liked the character of 'Disco Dave so much that he requested more scenes. Lemon Casting have worked with Peter Kay many times before, such as on the Phoenix Nights production and also the series of Max and Paddy.Details

Accused is double award winning television drama starring Sean Bean and Stephen Graham. Television drama, Fresh Meat, produced for Channel 4 is a new student type comedy drama starring Joe Thomas (The Inbetweeners) and comedian, Jack whitehall. Many of the scenes were shot in various locations around Manchester such as the Sharp Project, home of the Lemon head office. Lemon was asked to provide lots of artists for large scenes, including the memorable 'riot scene'. Fresh Meat, written by Peep Show creators Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain, has been a hit and is due to run for a 2nd series this year.Details
Lemon Casting provided many film extras for various scenes in the blockbuster movie Alfie, British/American comedy-drama film based on the 1966 British film of the same name, starring Jude Law, Susan Sarandon and Sienna Miller. The hit movie, directed by Charles Shyer, turned Manchester's Northern Quarter into a New York film set for the week. It was a fantasic opportunity for our artists to work with such huge stars.Details
Lemon Casting were ask to cast all the main actors for the Britain’s Bravest Cops reconstruction scenes, presented by Rav Wilding. Alpha Bravo supplied all police costumes to the production based on true events told by brave police men and women from around Britain. The filming location was in the stunning countryside setting of Oxfordshire for the week and actors where booked into the beautiful Eynsham Hall Hotel. The Director of the BBC production could not praise the actors enough, they were all fantastic and extremely well featured.Details
Lemon Casting provided military extras and featured artists for the Channel 4 film, The Mark of Cain, which was shot in Tunisia. The film extras were flown out to a deserted area in Tunisia during the 3 week shoot, which also features star of 'Green Street' Leo Gregory and Shaun Dooley (Eden Lake). Lemon Casting's costume department, Alpha Bravo supplied uniformed professionals and a the military adviser to show the main cast how to handle weapons.Details
